My experience at Multiclínica Medefi was fantastic, the confidence that Dr. Anne Swart and her staff have given me in truly life changing. Growing up I was always so self conscious of my smile and the way my teeth looked, I would only smile with my mouth closed. Now, thanks to Dr. Swart my life has totally changed. Now you cannot wipe the smile off my face, I am always smiling!
The personal attention from the friendly helpful staff and the modern pain free equipment used made my experience a great one. The skill and expertise of Dr. Swart is amazing. Not only was my experience with my dental treatment great, the time between treatments was wonderful in the beautiful Algarve region of Portugal. With the beautiful mountains and pristine beaches, Algarve is the ideal location to come for your dental treatment. I visited the Health Tourism show in London where I first met Dr Anne, from Portugal among other Dental Practitioners from various countries. At the end of the day my choice came down to 2 countries, but I eventually chose Dr Anne in Portugal because she was offering a smaller practice with a more personal service.
I was very nervous about having my teeth extracted and dental implants inserted, because I thought it was going to be very painful. How wrong could I have been. From start to finish Dr Anne and her team were very professional, courteous, and gentle. The gentleness was extrordinary. I had the extractions and 3 implant in my lower jaw on my first visit. i can hand on heart say there was no pain. I had a little bruising and that was all. I still enjoyed my holiday while I was there. The aftercare is fantastic too. i even received a phoned call back in the UK between appointments to see how I was getting on and if I had any concerns. After three months I went back to have my lovely new teeth fitted to the implants. I can truly say 'my smile is looking good for the first time in many years.
If anyone is thinking of having implants, don't hesitate to go to see Dr Anne in Portugal, you won't regret it.
